HANDICRAFTS
(Group Classes at School)
Classes that teach
patience and creativity
Handicrafts are the art of expressing yourself through materials and textures.
Through working with your hands, you develop patience, concentration and the sense that you can create something beautiful.

What do we learn in class?
- Designing and creating jewelry from various materials (e.g. beads, wire, felt)
- Weaving, knitting and other fiber crafts,
- Making decorative objects and home accessories,
- Basic sewing and embroidery,
- Problem-solving and creative thinking.
Class Duration
Classes are held once a week and last 45 or 60 minutes - depending on school arrangements
and the project at hand.
Why does this work?
Handicrafts support manual development, concentration and a sense of agency.
These are classes where mistakes become learning opportunities and patience is the greatest teacher.
End of Semester
The result of the work can be a school exhibition, online gallery or market where students showcase their creations.
