RHYTHMICS

(Group classes in preschool)

Rhythmic classes

These are dynamic, joyful classes that combine music, movement and play.

Rhythmics develops sense of rhythm, movement coordination,
concentration and musicality – and all of this takes place in an atmosphere of mindfulness, freedom and childlike curiosity.
Each meeting is a journey through sounds, gestures and melodies –
using instruments, songs and movement activities.
Classes are conducted in a Polish-English system or entirely in English –
depending on the group.
The teacher activates children through singing, dancing, rhythmic exercises
and improvisation, building in them joy of movement and openness to music.

What do we learn in classes?

– sense of rhythm,
– movement coordination,
– listening and responding to music,
– basics of working with voice and sound,
– singing songs and making music together,
– vocabulary and phrases in English.

Class duration

Classes take place once or twice a week
and last 30 or 45 minutes – depending on the age of the children
and arrangements with the preschool. Their rhythm is adapted to the group’s abilities, and each activity takes place in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Why does it work?

Classes are conducted in small groups, with attention to the pace and needs of children. Rhythmics combines natural movement
with music and joy – it supports physical and emotional development, teaches cooperation, and enriches language and listening skills.
